#1: CHR (Cloud Hosted Router) P10 License
1. Important: MikroTik account required
- We transfer a CHR license (prepaid key) directly to a MikroTik customer account - it is not sent via file or code.
- To do this, we need the email address you use (or will use) to log in to the MikroTik customer portal: https://mikrotik.com/client/
- If you do not yet have an account, you can create one there for free - please send us the corresponding email address afterward.
2. Please provide us with this email address:
- During the ordering process in the “Comments”/“Customer Request” field, or
- by email to [sales@mikrotik-store.eu], including your order number
- Without this information, we cannot assign the license, and your order will be delayed.
3. Activating the License - Procedure:
- Prerequisite: We have transferred the license to your MikroTik account.
- On your active CHR instance, go to System > Licenses > Renew License, enter your MikroTik account credentials, select a level (e.g., “P1”), and click Start.
- Then go to “All CHR keys” in your account (https://mikrotik.com/client/), where you’ll see your linked instance. Click Upgrade and use your prepaid key to pay during the payment process. That’s all there is to it.
- Make sure you always have access to “licence.mikrotik.com,” otherwise updates will no longer be possible after the deadline expires.
4. What do the licenses allow:
- p1 - p1 (perpetual-1) license level allows CHR to run indefinitely. It is limited to 1Gbps upload per interface. All the rest of the features provided by CHR are available without restrictions. It is possible to upgrade from P1 to P10 or P-Unlimited. Once the upgrade is purchased at the full price, the former license will become available for later use on your account.
- p10 - p10 (perpetual-10) license level allows CHR to run indefinitely. It is limited to 10Gbps upload per interface. All the rest of the features provided by CHR are available without restrictions. It is possible to upgrade from P10 to P-Unlimited. Once the upgrade is purchased at the full price, the former license will become available for later use on your account.
- p-unlimited - The p-unlimited (perpetual-unlimited) license level allows CHR to run indefinitely. It is the highest-tier license and it has no enforced limitations.
