Oder vielleicht verwalten Sie das Netzwerk an einem belebten Ort und wollen nicht, dass jeder physischen Zugriff auf das Gerät hat? Wie auch immer - Ceiling ist die Antwort! Das Gerät selbst ist ziemlich schlank - das niedrige Profil erregt weniger Aufmerksamkeit als ein Rauchmelder. Ihre Kunden, Gäste oder Kollegen werden es nicht einmal bemerken. Aber sie werden definitiv die rasend schnelle Wireless Verbindung im gesamten Gebäude bemerken.

Das neue Design verfügt über eine größere High-Gain-Antenne, eine höhere Empfindlichkeit und einen eingebauten Reflektor. Diese Verbesserungen ermöglichen eine Vergrößerung des abgedeckten Bereichs um bis zu 100% im Vergleich zu den früheren cAP-Modellen!

Das Dual-Band, Dual-Chain 2,4 und 5 GHz Funkgerät bietet eine starke Abdeckung in 360 Grad um es herum, so dass Sie sich keine Gedanken über die Platzierung des Geräts machen müssen. Durch die Anbringung an der Decke werden viele Probleme der Signalabsorption beseitigt, wie z. B. die Blockierung des Signals durch große Fernsehgeräte, Metallwände in Großraumbüros usw.

Obwohl das Funkgerät den Repeater-Modus unterstützt, bieten die beiden Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports die Möglichkeit, das Netzwerk mit Kabeln zu erweitern, auch wenn PoE-Strom benötigt wird: Der cAP XL ac unterstützt 802.3af/at PoE-Eingang am ersten Port und passiven PoE-Ausgang (bis zu 57 V) am zweiten Port.
