Sie suchen einen ansprechenden Access Point, der nicht im Weg steht? Oder verwalten Sie vielleicht das Netzwerk an einem stark frequentierten Ort und möchten nicht, dass jeder physischen Zugriff auf das Gerät hat? So oder so - die Decke ist die Lösung! Das Gerät selbst ist sehr schlank - durch sein unauffälliges Design fällt es weniger auf als ein Rauchmelder. Ihre Kunden, Gäste oder Kollegen werden es gar nicht bemerken. Aber sie werden definitiv die blitzschnelle WLAN-Verbindung im gesamten Gebäude bemerken.
Das neue Design verfügt über eine größere Hochleistungsantenne, höhere Empfindlichkeit und einen integrierten Reflektor. Diese Verbesserungen ermöglichen eine Vergrößerung der Abdeckungsfläche um bis zu 100 % im Vergleich zu den bisherigen cAP-Modellen!
Der Dualband-Funk mit zwei Kanälen (2,4 und 5 GHz) bietet eine starke Abdeckung in einem Umkreis von 360 Grad, sodass Sie sich keine großen Gedanken über die Platzierung des Geräts machen müssen. Durch die Anbringung an der Decke werden viele Probleme mit der Signalabsorption vermieden, wie z. B. die Blockierung des Signals durch große Fernseher, Metallwände in Großraumbüros usw.
Auch wenn das Funkmodul den Repeater-Modus unterstützt, bieten Ihnen die beiden Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports die Möglichkeit, Ihr Netzwerk mit Kabeln zu erweitern, selbst wenn PoE-Stromversorgung erforderlich ist: Der cAP XL ac unterstützt 802.3af/at PoE-Eingang am ersten Port und passiven PoE-Ausgang (bis zu 57V) am zweiten Port.
