Der hAP ac ist MikroTiks universelles Wireless-Gerät für zu Hause oder im Büro. Es handelt sich um ein Dualband-Gerät mit Gigabit-Ports, das die Vorteile der 802.11ac-Technologie voll ausschöpft und gleichzeitig die Kompatibilität mit älteren Geräten im 2GHz 802.11 b/g/n- und 5GHz a/n-Modus aufrechterhält.

Die omnidirektionalen Antennen ermöglichen es, den hAP ac an jedem beliebigen Ort zu montieren, und der Hochleistungssender sorgt für eine gute Abdeckung der mobilen Geräte in Ihrem Zuhause, im Büro oder an öffentlichen Orten.

Weitere nützliche Funktionen sind ein USB-Port für den Anschluss zusätzlicher Speichermedien oder eines 3G/4G-Modems, ein PoE-Ausgang am letzten Ethernet-Port, um andere RouterBOARD-Geräte mit Strom zu versorgen, ohne ein zusätzliches Netzteil zu benötigen, und ein SFP-Käfig für den Anschluss aktiver oder passiver optischer Netzwerkmodule.
