Der Mikrotik Cloud Router Switch 112-8G-4S-IN ist das neue “small size low cost” Mitglied der CRS Serie. Er ist bestückt mit 8 Gigabit Ethernet Ports und  4 SFP Einschüben. Mikrotiks CRS Serie kombiniert die besten Features eines voll funktionalen Routers und eines Layer 3 Switches. Wie auf allen Mikrotik-Geräten wird auch dieser CRS von RouterOS betrieben. Der CRS verfügt sowohl über eine spezielles Switch Menü, über welches die verschiedensten Switch-Konfigurationen erstellbar sind, als auch über die Möglichkeit, Ports getrennt von einer Switch-Konfiguration für Routings zu verwenden.
