Wie die anderen Modelle der CCR2004-Serie verfügt auch dieser CCR über die Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine v2 CPU mit 4x 64-bit ARMv8-A Cortex-A57 Kernen. Während diese CPU mit 1,2 GHz läuft, kann der Router dreimal so schnell sein wie die CCRs der vorherigen Generation. Das ist das stille Kraftpaket. Genießen Sie die gesamte Leistung eines echten CCR in aller Ruhe und Stille. Befreien Sie sich vom Brummen und Summen in Ihrem Büro, Studio, Serverraum oder Heimlabor, ohne Abstriche bei der Leistung zu machen!
Der neue Router verfügt über 18 kabelgebundene Ports, darunter 16x Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports und zwei 10G SFP+-Käfige. Außerdem verfügt er über einen RJ-45-Konsolenport an der Vorderseite.
Jede Gruppe von 8 Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports ist mit einem separaten Switch-Chip der Marvell Amethyst-Familie verbunden. Jeder Switch-Chip hat eine 10-Gbit/s-Vollduplex-Leitung, die mit der CPU verbunden ist. Dasselbe gilt für jeden SFP+-Käfig - eine separate 10-Gbit/s-Vollduplex-Leitung. Die Boards sind mit 4 GB DDR4-RAM und 128 MB NAND-Speicher ausgestattet.
Wie Sie sehen können, gibt es also keine Engpässe. Solange die CPU die Verarbeitung bewältigen kann, können alle Ports Leitungsgeschwindigkeit erreichen.
