Der RB450Gx4 ist ein Ethernet-Router mit fünf Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports, einem seriellen Port, 512 MB NAND-Speicher und einem microSD-Kartensteckplatz. Darüber hinaus unterstützt er volle 10 V - 57 V Eingangsspannung über zwei Strombuchsen oder PoE (802.3af/ at oder passives PoE) und kann PoE-Ausgang für Ethernet-Port #5 bereitstellen.

Er wird von MikroTik RouterOS betrieben. Er wird ohne Gehäuse und ohne Netzteil geliefert, Sie können ihn in Ihrem eigenen Gehäuse verwenden. Der Formfaktor des Geräts ist identisch mit dem unserer früheren Serien RB850 und RB450, so dass Sie sogar die gleichen Gehäuse verwenden können.

Das Gerät wird von einer Quad-Core-ARM-CPU angetrieben, verfügt über 1 GB RAM und unterstützt Hardware-IPsec-Verschlüsselung.
